Season 2 resumes directly from the cliffhanger of the first season, adapting chapters 34 through 62 of the manga. The opening arc, known as the Cursed House Arc, follows Momo, Okarun, and their friend Jin Enjoji (Jiji) as they journey to Jin’s family residence in Daija Town—a location steeped in malevolence and tragedy. Their seemingly simple trip soon turns into a deep dive into dark history, unearthing long-buried mysteries.

This leads into the chilling Evil Eye Arc, where Jin becomes possessed by an ancient spirit with a history of torment and violent death. This narrative shift delves deeper than previous threats, introducing a personal struggle that resonates with the characters’ emotional arcs.
